Marketing Coordinator

Punchcut is currently seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional to join our team. You should have at least 3-5 years of experience working in digital marketing, exude a passion for design and technology and be a flexible, organized, and creative marketer able to guide and execute  high-impact campaigns.

The Marketing Manager reports to the Opportunity Director and will be responsible for coordination and execution of marketing and communications activities to increase Punchcut’s visibility and awareness among target audiences and drive the generation of high quality leads. Using content driven marketing, the core focus will be with digital platforms and social media with a secondary focus on PR and event planning. This position is a hands-on role requiring both leadership and production expertise.

Responsibilities

1. Marketing Campaign Publishing and Promotion

  • Coordinate and execute promotion campaigns across social media, publishing, and email
  • Manage social media presence in creating, publishing posts and monitoring engagement.
  • Coordinate the writing and publishing of articles and posts for broad distribution
  • Implement paid advertising and sponsorship across social media, SEM, etc.
  • Manage the evolution and development of the company website
  • Plan and execute email newsletter releases through email marketing tools
  • Implement SEO programs including onsite and offsite optimization
  • Plan and maintain a campaign schedule for coordination and tracking

2. Marketing Content Production

  • Write and edit content for social campaigns, articles, newsletters, and promo materials
  • Produce visual assets and templates for digital communications
  • Aggregate and publish content to Punchcut.com
  • Collaborate with team to QA and make dev updates Punchcut.com
  • Help in the production of marketing videos and photography
  • Source images and maintain image libraries

3. Marketing Project Management

  • Manage execution, delivery and implementation of various marketing projects.
  • Jointly establish marketing plans and priorities for key tactics and initiatives
  • Prepare project briefs and project schedules that outline goals and task progress
  • Source specialists internally and externally to execute campaigns and projects
  • Provide daily management to internal teams to meet agreed upon milestones

4. Marketing Analytics Reporting

  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns (ROI, KPIs) 
  • Analyze key metrics to monitor campaign efficiency and trends
  • Work closely with IT/developer to execute website SEO optimizations
  • Maximize the use of marketing software and analytics tools
  • Manage budgets, ROI and campaign objectives effectively and optimize.

5. Marketing Evangelism and Public Relations

  • Actively contribute to the Public Relations strategy across multiple segments
  • Create and manage high-touch relationships with key writers and editors in the industry 
  • Establish and maintain a news/pitch calendar 
  • Build and maintain a database of contacts for outreach 
  • Produce appropriate communication materials for media consumption
  • Manage and coordinate event appearances and hosted events  
  • Maintain understanding of tech industry trends, media landscape and industry influencers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3 to 5 years of Marketing experience is required
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing strategies and all elements of the Marketing mix
  • Knowledge of latest digital marketing tools SEO, Google Adwords and Google Analytics
  • Experience with publishing and managing all major social media channels
    Proven experience in public relations with media contacts, press tours, and eternal evangelism
  • Project management skills a must
  • Experience with production software and platforms – WordPress, Keynote, etc.
  • Outstanding written skills and copywriting experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and professional approach to business
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactics
  • Ability to develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
